For example, if you are over 65 years old you and require in home care services you can contact your local Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). A consultant will contact you to ascertain the level of care and support services for which you qualify.

If you qualify for government support you will be allocated one of four levels from level one for basic support to level four for advanced support.

If you are under 65, you may qualify for funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
