Government Funding for in Home Care

The Australian government provides funding for eligible individuals requiring in home care. Depending on your age and circumstances you could receive a monthly subsidy to help alleviate the costs of your care.

Available funding can be used to partially or fully subsidise care and support services from providers such as Beacon Support.

For example, if you are over 65 years old and you require in home care services you can contact your local Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). A consultant will contact you to ascertain the level of care and support services for which you qualify.

If you qualify for government support you will be allocated one of four levels from level one for basic support to level four for advanced support.

If you are under 65, you may qualify for funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Our care and support services are also available for people who don’t qualify for subsidies and will fund their own care.
